St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus, Onondaga, New York, United States
Notes: A number of Glovers are laid to rest here, in the Old Section on the east side of New Seneca Turnpike. There are two monuments together at the top of the hill slightly to the right of center about four rows from the back. They are about seven feet high, one with arches and the other with vee roofs, both with crosses on top. These two headstones are believed to have been carved by one of the family stone masons who worked on the Erie Canal.
The monument with arches is Margaret Mulrain Glover (front/west; 1778-1865), her son Michael Glover (back/east; 1815-1895), and two small stones to the north: Mary Glover (1853-1941) and Bridget Glover (1861-1941).
The monument with the vees is John Glover (front/west; 1809-1886), his wife Mary Kennedy Glover (front/east; (1809-1879), Sara Glover Coleman (north; 1818-1879), John Nicholson (south; 1841-1897) and his wife Margaret Glover Nicholson (south; 1841-1917), and four small stones to the east: "father," "mother," "Mary Grace," and "Emma Irene." The last four are Nicholsons.
